Lanceros para Lion Rampant / Spearmen for Lion Rampant

Finalmente he acabado una unidad de lanceros para mi mesnada de Lion Rampant, incluyendo un oficial y un músico. He dotado a algunas figuras con paveses para poder usarlos como pavesari en un futuro, y empleado el esquema de color blanco / rojo para dar unidad a la mesnada. Todas las figuras pertenecen a la caja de franceses de Agincourt de los Perry, menos el músico que pertenece a la caja de ingleses.

Finally I've finished the spearmen unit for my Lion Rampant retinue, including an officer and a musician. I've fitted some miniatures with pavises in order to use them as pavesari in the future, and used the White / red color pattern to give the retinue a sense of unity. All the miniatures belong to the Agincourt french infantry box of Perry, but the musician that belongs to the English box..

Bidowers para Lion Rampant / Bidowers for Lion Rampant

Ya he acabado la primera unidad de bidowers para Lion Rampant. Son seis arqueros de plástico de la caja de ingleses de Agincourt de los Perry. Junto con el resto de arqueros de la caja podré montar algunas unidades de bidowers o de arqueros.

I’ve already finished the first unit of bidowers for Lion Rampant. They’re six plastic archers from the Agincourt english box of Perry. With the rest of the archers from the box I’ll be able to either assemble some bidowers or archer units.

¡Llegan los marines! / The marines are coming!

Rebuscando en la montaña de plomo encontré una caja de marines espaciales de Dark Empire. Así que me puse a hacer pruebas de pintura, y aquí están los resultados. Los primeros Ultramarines primaris de la 3ª compañía. Ahora solo tengo que pintar el resto del ejército hasta 1000 puntos...¡Larga vida al emperador!

Researching into the lead mountain I stumbled into a Dark empire space marines box. So then I started to run some painting tests, and here are the results. The first primaris Ultramarines, from the 3rd company. Now I just have to paint the rest of the army up to 1000 points...Long live the Emperor!

Ultramarines Omnibus

Este fin de semana he acabado la primera novela del primer Omnibus de los Ultramarines, "Nightbringer", de Graham McNeill. Me ha parecido una buena forma  de introducirme  en el mundo del Imperio Humano, además de coger ideas para un futuro ejército de marines. Siendo rápida y sencilla de leer, la he acabado en unos días.

La novela trata sobre el ascenso del sargento Uriel al rango de Capitán, y su primera misión de combate en un mundo Imperial. Traiciones, batallas  espaciales y combates en catacumbas se suceden a ritmo trepidante. Todo lo que necesita un adepto a Warhammer.

This weekend I've finished the first novel from the first Ultramarines Omnibus, "Nightbringer", by Graham McNeill. It's been a good way to introduce myself into the world of the Human Empire, also taking some ideas for a future marines army. Being fast and easy to read, I've finished it into in just some days.

The novel is about the rise of sergeant Uriel to the rank of Captain, and his first combat mission in an Imperial world. Treasons, space battles and fights in catacombs take place at a fast pace. All that a Warhammer-adept needs.
